Our custom wig service includes a private consultation, precise head measurements, cap construction to your specifications, and final styling. Note that hair is not included; we work with your supplied hair or advise on sourcing. Professional installation is available separately.
No, our Custom Made Wig option is offered hair not included. Clients may bring their own hair or purchase recommended bundles elsewhere. We advise on quality and quantity needed and handle construction, fitting, and styling once you supply the hair.
A standard wig install usually takes 1.5 to 3 hours depending on complexity, cap type, and styling. Simple installs are faster; custom fittings, lace work, or intricate blending require more time. We provide a time estimate during booking based on your chosen service.
Maintenance covers cleaning, conditioning, restyling, minor repairs, and tension adjustments to preserve fit and appearance. We inspect the cap and hair, replace or reseal lace if needed, and recommend scheduling intervals based on wear frequency to keep your wig looking fresh.
Frequency depends on wear and adhesive use; typically every 4–8 weeks for glued installs and 6–12 weeks for sew-in units. Takedowns allow scalp recovery, deep cleaning and repairs. We'll recommend a personalized schedule during consultation based on your lifestyle and wig materials.
Daily wear is fine with proper care, but swimming and sleeping can shorten your wig’s lifespan. Chlorine, saltwater and prolonged friction damage hair and caps. Remove before swimming, secure for sleep with a silk scarf, and follow maintenance advice to prolong life.
